At Groundwork London, supporting local communities through environmental and social projects is all that we do. 

Our community and landscape teams work day in and day out to grow, improve and maintain local green spaces in the some of the most deprived areas of London. 

Green spaces hold an amazing power. They enable social interactions, connection to nature and wellbeing. 

One of our most popular types of work is around Community Fruit and Veg Gardens. 

Being able to grow your own food provides an immense sense of reward and satisfaction. 

Nonetheless to say it also contributes to eating healthily and more sustainably. 

Better places, better prospects and living & working sustainably are the main three strands of Groundwork's missions.

Community food gardens contributes to all of the above. 

To fundraise for our community work, we're rewarding every donation over £15 made on this page with a Groundwork London Fruit and Veg Calendar. 

Produced and designed in collaboration between the Groundwork London's Comms team and the Gardening team, you'll get a calendar that tells you every month what you can eat in season, supporting you in your healthy and sustainable cooking. 

All the illustration are bespoke, hand drawn and then digitally scanned by Siun Malik, Communications Officer at Groundwork London.

About the calendar

• Size: A3 – wire bound at the top
• Inside: 12 months January to December with the fruits and vegs of the month, a note section, the recipe of the month and some freezing tips + bonus: sowing and growing index
• Recycled paper

All donations made after Tuesday 19th of December will be sent in the new year.
